University Tuition Fees In The US Are At An All-Time High

Tuition fees are continuing to climb in the United States of America for both domestic and international students. However it is the students coming from overseas that are expected to face the worst of this as they have to pay for visa applications and various “international student fees” as well.

While several factors can be blamed for the rise in tuition, foreign students have begun to look towards new destinations to pursue their study abroad goals. In fact Canada has seen record numbers of international students in recent years due to lower fees and a greater opportunity to start a life there after graduation.

The top universities in the world have been ranked by QS and seven schools in Canada have successfully cracked the Top 200. These Canadian universities are: The University of Toronto (ranked 29), McGill University (tied for 35), the University of British Columbia (51), the University of Alberta (113), University of Montreal (137), McMaster University (tied for 140) and the University of Waterloo (tied for 173).
